Hostýn - Stations of the Cross

There are actually two Ways of the Cross in the Hostýn pilgrimage area. The older one was built from 1900 to 1902. Near Sarkander's chapel are the first two chapels with scenes of the 1st and 2nd stops, the other 8 stops lead along the ridge to the Lookout and are always made up of a stone pedestal with a cross and a relief scene of Christ's journey to Calvary (the author of these scenes is the Bystrica painter Zůrek.
