Hoštka - Column of the Holy Trinity
Hoštka is a town in the district of Litoměřice near Štětí, and the column of the Holy Trinity is located right in the center of the city on Náměstí svobody. It was built in the years 1735 - 1737 according to the design of the sculptor Mathias Tollinger from Litoměřice. Stone workshops from Úštěk and Bílina worked on the column. The column was erected to commemorate the great fire that affected Hoštka in 1735. At the top is a statue of the Holy Trinity.…
