Horní Věstonice – the statue of Věstonické Venus

In the garden of the Balloon guesthouse in Horní Věstonice, there is a statue of the Věstonické Venus, a symbol of the local region, on a stone plinth. The author of the statue is Lubomír Mořkovský, he carved it in May 2013.
The original Věstonické Venus figurine is stored in the Moravian Regional Museum in Brno, in the collections of the Anthropos Institute. You will see a copy of it in the museum exhibition. The original is exhibited very rarely. Value…
