Hořiněveske lindens

Hořiněveské Lípy, memorable trees located southeast of Hořiněvs. The age of the linden is estimated at more than 500 years. During the 1866 war between the Prussians and the Austrians, linden trees determined the direction of the II. Prussian army. There is a monument to the Austrian 57th Infantry Regiment near the lime trees. Access to the lindens, which today merge with the forest, is via a local dirt road.
