Hořice - statue of the Man of Work (From Day to Day)

The bronze statue of the Man of Work, which is located in Komenský street, has nothing to do with ideology, as the name suggests. It is the work of the famous sculptor Ladislav Šaloun from 1908. Ladislav Šaloun is the author of both the Hořice monument to Jan Hus from 1913, as well as the famous Prague sculpture on Old Town Square, which was unveiled in 1915 on the anniversary of Hus's burning.
