Hořice - Mohejlík, Hussite mound

The Hussite mound on Návrší Mohejlík is located south of the Hořice railway station. The monument, which consists of a Hussite war chariot with a seated lion, is placed on an artificial mound. The work was created in 1893 by the sculptor Antonínen Šešina from Hórica as a commemoration of the victory of Žižek's army over the divisions of the Kališnica nobility led by Čeňk of Vartenberk.
