Holašovice – menhir circle or South Bohemian Stonehenge

The South Bohemian village of Holašovice became especially famous for its inclusion in the list of UNESCO monuments in 1998. Apparently, the adjective Village Monument Reserve was no longer enough for the local peasant baroque. Currently, Holašovice already attracts its potential visitors - and possible donors - with other attractions. And that is the menhir field behind the village; a field that certainly does not beat you with positive energy.
