Hoděčín - a village mentioned in the middle of the 16th century in connection with the construction of a fortress, which was built in the corner of a riverside yard surrounded by ramparts and a ditch, when the owner of the yard was Jan Licek from Rýzmburk. In the years 1860-74, when Jaroslav from Šternberk was the owner of the court, the fortress was rebuilt into a classicist castle.
