Hnanice is a small wine-growing border village with 300 inhabitants and can be found in the southern direction from the city of Znojmo, in the neighborhood of the border with Austria. The village is located along the course of the Daníž River and on the southeastern edge of the Podyjí National Park. Extensive vineyards and fruit orchards extend from the outskirts of the village.
