Hlúčín - fire station and hose dryer

While walking through the town of Hlučín, I noticed an interesting building located on the school grounds. It is a unique construction of a hose dryer, which has been a cultural monument since 2005. It was built in 1885 as a hose dryer and at the same time served as an observation post for monitoring possible fires. The building was consecrated in 1886 on the occasion of the firemen's festival.
