Hložec - history of the area

  They say that "a little history" never killed anyone, so I would like to give you a brief history of this mountain area: the oldest human settlement on the outskirts of Hložka even dates back to the oldest stone age - the Neolithic. Ax hammers were found in Valašské Klobouky, Lipin and Bylnice. Today it seems almost unbelievable that prehistoric people lived here too and hunted in the then impenetrable primeval forests...
