Hlohovec - church of St. Bartholomew
The local church, originally dedicated to St. Jan Nepomuck, was built here in 1832-35. In the 1846 Hlohoveck memorial book there is an entry, according to which the village was helped by Prince Jan I. of Liechtenstein for providing him with land around the Hlohoveck pond.
