Hibsch's cave.
At the foot of Dlouhé vrch, near the village of Skalice, there is a 20-meter-long sandstone cave. In the past, building stone and later sand were mined here. A sandstone block was drilled through sand mining, creating a walk-through cave. The cave was named after the prominent scientist Josef Emanuel Hibsch, who was the first to geologically map the České středohoří. An educational trail runs around the cave. During visit…
