In the past, Hazlov was certainly one of the most important settlements in CHEB. A Romanesque castle stood here already around 1200, and the first written mention dates back to 1224. Only a small part of the original palace has survived to this day, in the northwestern part of the area. The tower of the current church was part of the castle. In the 14th century, the Gothic reconstruction of the castle was carried out, during which the residential palace was expanded.…
