Havlíčkův Brod - Town Brewery Rebel
Havlíčkův Brod acquired the right to brew as early as 1333. This right was granted by King John of Luxembourg to the then lord of Německý Brod, Jindřich of Lipá, as part of the entire set of rights of royal towns. Since then, beer production has flourished here. Each citizen brewed his own beer, but gradually they began to join companies and later found large breweries.
