The city of Havířov also has its forest park. It is located not far from the city center near ZŠ M. Kudeříková.
The forest cover was artificially established here more than a hundred years ago. The city is now looking for subsidies (up to 40 million) for its regeneration.
Footpaths and well-trodden footpaths lead through the forest park. There is also a wooden gym. There is no refreshment here.
