Hanička, fortress of the First Republic
The Hanička fortress of the First Republic reminds us of the great fortification of our borderland in the Eagle Mountains at the end of the 30s. It got its name from the now defunct settlement from 1790.
Hanička is one of the few military fortresses that are accessible to the public. It has been open since 1995, having been briefly accessible in the 60s. For example, the 20 film Days of Betrayal was filmed here.
