Hamrníky - castle

The yard and castle Hamrníky - Hammerhof is today located in the city of Mariánské Lázně. In the years 1706-1708, an abbey castle was built here, perhaps on the site of an older farm yard. The construction was carried out by the builder Wolfgang Brauenbock, under the supervision of the well-known Baroque builder Christoph Dientzernhofer, father of the equally famous Kilian Ignác Dienzehofer and contemporary Giovani Sanitini-Aichel.
