Hammer wrinkles

A rock formation on the left bank of the Dyje between Vranov and the village of Zadní Hamry. A protected natural creation. A geological site with strongly folded (ptygmatic) folds as evidence of mountain-forming processes during the injection of migmatic matter into the gneisses. A forest-steppe site with an abundance of yellow-blooming sedges, sedges, large-flowered sedge and other plants in the spring.
