The settlement of Gručovice is a local part of the municipality of Březová. The settlement is located southeast of Březová and in an eastern direction near the road leading from Opava to Fulnek. The first mention of Gručovice dates from 1450, and the settlement became part of the Březová municipality in 1979. The wooded slopes of the surrounding hills rise from the outskirts of the village.
