In 1701, the so-called Saxon Hall was built, and in 1728 the Czech Hall, which became the most popular social center of the nobility in Karlovy Vary, was added to it. In 1775, confectioner Johann Georg Pupp was married to Karlovy Vary, 1786 bought the Czech Hall and the Pupp family changed the Czech Hall in several generations to a large hotel. The current neo-baroque style of the hotel is from 1905 - 1907.
