Geological outcrop near Malé Svatoňovice

This is an old, no longer used quarry on the NW. the outskirts of Malé Svatoňovice. Access to the quarry is limited by a fence, on its edge is a detailed information board.
The quarry reveals the tectonic contact between Permian conglomerates of the Trutnov formation and Upper Cretaceous sediments. As a result of the presence of the Hronovsko - Poříča fault, the layers are steeply raised.
