Gallery of modern art in Hradec Králové
The modern art gallery is located on Velké náměstí opposite the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. It was built according to the plans of Osvald Polívka in the late Art Nouveau style. The facade of the building is decorated with sculptures by Ladislav Šaloun. The exhibition is mainly focused on the art of the 20th century, works by Václav Špála, Toyen, Josef Čapek, Jan Zrzavý, Josef Váchal, Bohumil Kubišta can be seen.
