Frenštát pod Radhoštěm / Trojanovice - ski jumping area Jiří Raška and the cable car at Horečky

The ski jumper Jiří Raška, a native of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, was a real phenomenon, as evidenced by his announcement as the best Czech skier of the century. After all, this is an Olympic winner, a medalist from the World Cup and the winner of the German-Austrian Tour of Four Bridges. Although he achieved his greatest successes "a long time ago" - i.e. between 1967 and 1972 - he will probably never be forgotten (not only) in his hometown.
