Franciscan Monastery in Kadani

One of the most important monuments of the North Bohemian city of Kadaň is the Franciscan Monastery, which is located in the western part of the city. It was founded at the end of the 15th century on the site of the original chapel of the Fourteen Saints. It immediately became the center of cultural and spiritual events in the village, despite the fact that in some periods the development of the monastery was not exactly positive.
