Fortovna and Šiškovna in Slatina nad Úpou
These special names are given to a pair of hermitages that were built by the Náchod nobility on the edge of Havlovice, just below the Barchovin forest massif. Cadastrally, however, both buildings belong to Slatina nad Úpou. According to the indicative sketch of the stable cadastre from 1840, which was drawn up by trainee Franz Baudisch and 2nd class surveyor Franz Kraissl, there were three real estates at that time - 2 timbered with old No. 252...
