Findlater obelisk - Karlovy Vary

Findlater's obelisk stands near the body of the cable car under Friendship Height on the way from Myslivna to the Diana Lookout.
It was erected in 1804 in honor of the spa's generous patron, the Scottish Earl James Ogilvy Findlater, who lived in Karlovy Vary from 1793 to 1810.
The count fell in love with Karlovy Vary and sponsored both the construction and repairs of spa facilities and forest trails.…
