Filipova Hut

Filipova Huť could rather be compared to a grouping of individual solitudes. It was founded as a settlement near a glass factory for hollow glass in 1785. The name is derived from the owner of the manor, Filip Kinski. In the 19th century, the smelter disappeared and woodworkers came to these places. As in every settlement in Šumava, there is one peculiarity to be seen here. The barn (located in the attic) can be accessed directly from the road via an elevated driveway.…
