Dvur Králové nad Labem - Shindelářská tower

The shingle tower is the most significant preserved element of the former City Fortification. It is evidence of fortifications that probably date back to the 13th century. The walls surrounded the city in a large oval with a projection around the church. Entrance to the city was ensured at four places: Dolní, Horní, Šindelářská and Hradišťská.
