When traveling through Czechoslovakia, I also recommend stopping in the smaller village of Doubice, which lies between Kyjov and Chřibská. The village lies in meadows surrounded by forests. The village was founded near one of the oldest glass smelters around 1547. Later, Sudeten Germans were probably provided with linen, thread production and cotton processing.
