Douglaska U Kříže in Hradecké lesé

The most prominent and tallest North American conifers are the Douglas-fir and the evergreen redwood. They are quite common trees in the western part of Canada and the USA. Less already on our old continent and in our homeland.
One Douglas fir (Pseuditsuga menziesii) can be seen by the residents of Hradec Králové and other visitors at the U Kříže water reservoir in the western part of the Hradecky Forest.
