Dolní Věstonice - former mill

The first mention of the mill is from 1377, in the urbária of the Lichtenstein estate in 1414 there is a mill with a weir, and the urbária of the Mikulov estate from 1560 mentions an old medieval mill. A new large Renaissance mill with eight pitches and a rise was built here by the New Baptist sect - the Habans in 1575. Later, a brewery was added to it.
