In the Beskydy mountain village of Dolní Lomná there are three monuments to the victims of both world wars. The monument to honor the memory of those who died in the First World War is in the form of a cross located in front of the Henryk Sienkiewicz elementary school. It has a Polish inscription on it, because many residents here speak Polish. The monument to the victims of Nazism is not far from the Matice slezská complex.
