The picturesque ruins of the castle are located on a high promontory above the Lužnicí river above the edge of the village of Dobronice near Bechyně in the Tábor region in the South Bohemian region. The cylindrical tower, the masonry of the Gothic palace from the 14th century, as well as the remains of the chapel and residential buildings, probably from the 16th century, have been preserved from the castle, as well as extensive rooms and cellars. The castle ruins are freely accessible.
