Dobromilice / Doloplazy - headless Jan Evangelista

A very interesting baroque monument, which is also "appropriated" by two municipalities, is the headless statue of St. Jan Evangelista, dating from 1774. The sculpture is a valuable – mysteriously acting – stone sculpture work from fine-grained Maletín sandstone and, thanks to its location, also an interesting landscape-forming element. Since 1958, it has been a monument-protected statue.
