With its 550 meters above sea level, Děvín is the highest peak of the Pavlovské vrchy and forms an unmissable dominant feature of the entire massif. The peak of Děvín consists of two separate scales of Ernstbrunn limestones, between which lie calcareous claystones and glauconitic sandstones of the Clementian and Pálava formations of the Upper Cretaceous.
