The villa of the glass magnate Josef Riedl Jr. it stands near the center of Desná in Krkonošská street (no. 120) on the plot of land on which a hydrotherapy spa was located in the years 1839–1851. The construction, built in 1893-1894, was carried out by the builder Stefan Umann from Dolní Polubné Polde, designed by Jablonec architect Arwed Thamerus.
