Tinker's eye

A small lake not far from the road leading from Cínovec to Fojtovice in the place where the village of Přední Cínovec used to be. It is one of the so-called Krušnohorské eyes. These lakes in the meadows in the top part of the Ore Mountains were created by the subsidence of the soil. The lake has an underground water source and is near the source of the river Mohelnice, which flows through the lake. It is an indicator of water saturation of mountains.
