Churans

A settlement with picturesque scattered solitudes at an altitude of 800 - 1050 meters. The settlement is connected with the development of glassmaking in the area in the 18th century.
Nowadays, there is a very important and frequently visited winter and summer recreation center here. Below the peak of Churáňov is a meteorological station, which over time gained European importance. There is also a ski jumping bridge and a Lookout.
