Chrudim - basta Prachárna

The bastion stands on the northeastern corner of the City Fortification and forms its dominant feature. It was built here in 1435 and at that time was intended for defense with small arms. In the bastion there is an exhibition about the city walls - its development and history. An extensive reconstruction of the building and its surroundings is currently underway and will be accessible again in 2011.
