St. Wenceslas Church in Světlá nad Sázavou

The original early Gothic sacral building was probably built on the ground plan of the cross near the city square before 1207. However, the first mention of it did not appear until 1318, when it belonged to the Benedictine monastery in Vilémov. Before the middle of the 14th century, it became a parish church. It went through a Renaissance reconstruction under Burian III. Trčky of Lípa, the baroque one "struck" it under Countess Černínová, and with her they were to the temple...
