Chomutov

Chomutov is located in Western Bohemia, west of the town of Most. The city is located under the hilltops of the Ore Mountains and in the valley formed by the Chomutovka River. To the south, near the city, is part of the West Bohemian lignite basin. A system of several ponds has been built at the southern edge of the city.
