Chodova Plana
A small town located north of the city of Planá.
It is first mentioned in 1316, when a smaller fortress stood here. 1734 converted into a castle. Today, a cultural house stands on the site of the old castle. A new castle was built in the nature park in the neo-baroque style, the construction of which was completed in 1903 and the owner was Count Berch from the Heimhausen family. After 1945, the castle was looted by the Revolutionary Guards and abandoned.Later…
