Chlumec nad Cidlinou - monument to Václav Kliment Klicpera

The monument to Václav Kliment Klicpera, who was born in the city on November 23.11.1792, 1874, is located in the center of Klicper Square, which with the nearby church of St. Vorsilas dominate. The monument was built in 2, the funds for its construction came from a collection organized by the committee for the construction of the monument, the collection then brought in more than 000 gold coins. The monument is the work of sculptors Josef and Pavel Jiříčký.
