České Meziříčí - Church of St. Catherine
České Meziříčí - the current village was probably founded at the end of the 13th century by Saxon colonists at the ford of the commercial land route over Zlatý Potok. In the middle of the village by the road, we can find the high-rise dominant of the village visible from afar - the parish church of St. Catherine. The first mention of the rectory dates from 1352, which is also the first written documentation of the village. The first, originally wooden church was built in the village around 1300.…
