Česká Lípa - Church of the Holy Cross

The church was built in the 14th century and is therefore the oldest preserved church in Česká Lípa. The oldest written mention of its existence dates from 1389. In 1426, Česká Lípa burned down, along with the church. It was managed to be repaired, and in 1490 it was consecrated. The church served as a cemetery for centuries. The cemetery is 200 meters north, on the slope above it. Evangelical priests preached here in the 16th century, in 1622...
