Česká Lípa - Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross
The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is the oldest church in Českolip. It was built in the 14th century on the initiative of the local townspeople, led by the burgomaster Jindřich from Weitmühle. In 1426, a great fire affected the city, which also affected the church, it was repaired and re-consecrated in 1490. In 1890, it was renovated in a neo-Gothic style by Josef Mocker.
