Winters that are stingy with snow and frost (including the current one) force cross-country skiers to go to higher altitudes, sometimes even the highest that our mountains can provide. Fortunately, if it is not a completely warm winter, the snow somehow holds in those places above a thousand meters and slowly deposits, even if only in millimetres.
