The village of Červená Hora is located on the road between Česká Skalica and Červený Kostelec. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1291. The remains of the castle of the same name - Červená Hora - are located near the village. The castle was founded in the 13th century and today only the outlines and remains of the walls are preserved.
