The Černická obora extends around the now defunct village of Černice on the road from Bechyně to Soběslav about 7 km east of Bechyně near Sudoměřice.
The extensive Černicka branch was founded in 1586 by Petr Vok from Rožmberk. It was mainly used for breeding black game, fallow deer and deer. In 1880, one of the oldest nature reserves in Bohemia was established in part of the nature reserve. Here is protected the rest of the obsolete…
